Plimmerton Community Menzshed

Our local Menzshed has developed since its establishment in 2018. The team is active in working with local environmental groups to produce a range of products … nesting boxes for Friends of Mana Island for their bird relocation projects, pest traps for Pest Free Porirua and other pest free groups , weta hotels to encourage breeding of these rare insects  and a range of gardening and useful outdoor products.

They also manage tagging removal and community projects like the great fence painting community day. They offer assistance to other volunteer groups and individuals in the area.
