Fenced dog exercise area at the northern end of Plimmerton Domain

PRA worked with PCC and canine behaviour experts, landscape architects and others to have a fenced dog exercise area developed in Plimmerton Domain. This project has been completed successfully and won awards for PCC. The park has three zones so dogs can play safely with other like dogs. The largest field is for high energy (younger, larger) dogs. Another area is for low energy (smaller, older) dogs and a screened field is for reactive dogs to exercise with their owners calmly. Seating is limited as owners should be interacting with their dogs and watching for any signs of stress or over excitement. The park is a very social place with owners and dogs meeting  regularly for a catch ups and fun.
